The Bagdi’s ghee making process

Hand Milking Process

Hand Milking Process

Fresh milk, hand-collected from the A2 Cow for traditional ghee-making, is slow-boiled—not pasteurized—and naturally cooled overnight to form fresh curd.

Brahma Muhurta Churning

Brahma Muhurta Churning

In the sacred Brahma Muhurta (4 AM to 6 AM), we begin churning the curd to produce fresh, pure white butter.

Slow Cooking Firewood Method

Slow Cooking Firewood Method

The freshly churned butter is taken to our firewood melting station, where it is slowly heated in an iron kadai to produce pure ghee.

Golden Transformation

Golden Transformation

After a few minutes of slow cooking, the ghee transforms into a rich golden yellow hue with a delightful aroma. This A2 ghee is highly nutritious and beneficial for your health.

Native Cows

Our A2 cows roam freely on lush organic pastures, feeding on nutrient-rich grass and herbs. This natural diet enhances the purity and quality of the milk, ensuring the finest ghee.

Brahma Muhurta Churning

Our A2 ghee is meticulously crafted in small batches during the sacred Brahma Muhurta, ensuring purity, richness, and traditional authenticity in every drop.

Makkhan from Curd

Fresh white butter, churned from curd, is gently heated, unlocking its golden essence and transforming it into our pure, nutrient-rich A2 ghee.

Slow Cooking Cow Dung Method

Our A2 ghee is slow-cooked using the traditional cow dung method, infusing it with rich aroma and nutrients while preserving its natural purity and authenticity.

    Smells really good!
First of all this isn’t my first purchase from The Bagdis . Infact I’ve been using The Bagdis ghee for almost a year. This new product called Desi cow ghee has a good VFM over the A2 bilona ghee which costs a lot more. Not sure about the benefits though. I really liked this desi cow ghee for the smell & taste. The latter is definitely more premium though.

  5. Nisha Singh

This ghee is rich and aromatic, adding depth to all my dishes.
